Cake au lard et aux pruneaux de Steph - Steph's bacon and prunes cake
Une recette de cake que je fais souvent pour un déjeuner léger ou une entrée pour l’été. Ne pas hésiter à le servir avec une bonne salade, des petites tomates… coupé en petits morceaux, il est à tomber pour l’apéritif !!!
Ingrédients (pour 6 personnes)
- 100 g de pruneaux dénoyautés
- 10 tranches de poitrine fumé
- 100 g de gruyère râpé
- 3 œufs
- 10 cl d’huile
- 10 cl de lait
- Sel et poivre
Préparation
- Préchauffez le four à 180°
- Coupez les pruneaux en morceaux
- Mélangez les œufs, l’huile, le lait préalablement tiédi et le gruyère râpé
- Salez et poivrez
- Incorporez à la préparation les pruneaux dénoyautés et coupés en morceaux
- Beurrez un moule à cake
- Tapissez-le avec 10 tranches de poitrine fumée
- Versez la préparation par-dessus
- Rabattre les morceaux de lards sur la préparation
- Mettez à cuire 45 mn (la lame d’un couteau doit ressortir sèche)
- Laissez-le refroidir 10 mn avant de le démouler
- Présenter sur un lit de salade et de savoureuses petites tomates
- Ou coupez-les en petits morceaux pour l’apéritif

A great recipe that I often make for a light lunch or as a starter for Summer diner !! Do not hesitate to serve it with a great salad and cherry tomatoes… Cut into pieces, it is also great for the aperitif !!
Ingredients (for 6 people)
- 3 oz of pitted prunes
- 10 slices of bacon
- 3 oz of grated Gruyère
- 3 eggs
- 7 tbs of oil
- 7 tbs of milk
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
– Preheat the oven at 356° F
- Cut the prunes into pieces
- Mix the eggs with the oil, warn milk, and the grated gruyere
- Season with salt and pepper
- Mix the preparation with the cut prunes
- Butter a cake mold
- Line the mold with the 10 slices of bacon
- Pour the preparation
- Fold the bacon on top of the preparation
- Cook for 45 mn (a knife has to come out dry)
- Let it cool for 10 mn and unmold
- Slice the cake and serve on a salad bed and with cherry tomatoes
- Or cut it into pieces for the aperitif
